Clark County Annual Dinner Features Special Guest Congressman Earl Blumenauer (OR-3) as Keynote Speaker
This year's Clark County Democrats annual dinner event "I'MagINe" features a keynote and guest appearance by Oregon's 3rd CD congressman Earl Blumenauer. The Imagine Dinner and Auction (Formerly known as the "JJ" Dinner) starts at 5:00pm on Saturday, June 7th at the Vancouver Hilton in Downtown Vancouver (Exit 1 on I-5).
An Oregon native and lifelong resident, Earl Blumenauer has dedicated his life to public service starting in 1972 when he was elected to the Oregon Legislature. From 1978 -1996, he served on the Multnomah County Commission and Portland City Council where he was instrumental in many of the Portland's innovations in mass transit, the environment and livability.
Blumenauer has served in congress since 1996, representing metropolitan Portland. He has been a strong advocate for effective mass transportation, shoring up our infrastructure, and moving our country towards energy independence. He is currently a member of the Budget Committee and Ways and Means Committee and the subcommittees on Health and Trade.
The "I'MagINe" dinner and silent auction is the annual fundraising event for Clark County Democrats. The proceeds go to maintaining our campaign office, supporting our candidates for local, state and congressional races, and training and technology for our volunteers.
