County Democrats Need Your Help to Move Clark County  Forward

Doug Lasher (Clark County Treasurer) and Deanna Pauli-Hammond (Candidate for County Clerk)

Clark County has had a crisis in leadership at the top since the 2012 election of David Madore and re-election of Tom Mielke as county commissioners. The county is suffering a massive "brain drain" of experienced and qualified employees who can no longer work in the corrosive atmosphere caused by Madore and Mielke's management "style".  How many more lawsuits will the taxpayers be on the hook for due to their mismanagement? How many more qualified potential employees will not be hired so that Madore and Mielke can continue to hire sitting state senators into full time county positions they're not qualified for? It's time to take our county back.

Fortunately, there is a chance for "we the people" to restore faith in our local government and start making decisions based on logic and what's best for our future as a community instead of extreme ideologies and cronyism.

How YOU Can Make A Difference!

Our county slate of Democratic candidates need your help and support. In local races more than any other kind of election, YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE with a few hours of volunteer work, a few dollars in a contribution and by being informed. If you've never worked on a campaign before, it's a great way to get involved in the community and participate in the democratic process. You also will make lots of new and interesting friends. We need your help! For more information on how YOU can make a difference, please contact Megan McDonagh by phone (360) 241-6271 or e-mail at
