Our commitment extends beyond city limits, reaching into the heart of rural communities in Clark, Klickitat and Skamania Counties. We recognize the unique challenges and opportunities that our rural Democrats face, and we are here to support and amplify their voices.

18th LD Democrats

Washington State's 18th Legislative District Democrats are working diligently to recruit and elect highly qualified Democratic candidates to the Washington State Legislature to represent the people of our district. For the first time in 30 years, a Democrat from LD 18 was elected in 2024 to the Washington State Legislature, Adrian Cortes, State Senator (18-D). Our efforts are grassroots voter engagement, Party Building recruiting Precinct Committee Officers, members, and party leaders, as well as outreach into our community. We strive to include, support, and advocate for all the people who live in the 18th LD.

20th LD Democrats

4th Wednesday Meetings

Clark County includes areas of the 20th Legislative District. Clark County Democrats who live in this district are encouraged and welcome to join us at our meetings and events. We have precincts available that need Democratic Precinct Committee Officers. The 20th Legislative District covers areas of Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis and Thurton Counties in Southwest Washington and is located within the boundaries of the 3rd and 10th Congressional Districts in Washington State.

49th LD Democrats

2nd Thursday Meetings

The 49th Legislative District Democrats meet every second Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 4505 East 18th Street in Vancouver. We have lively discussion, friendly members, and take action to make sure that we keep our government accountable to the people they serve. We, as an organization, are highly politically active and welcome people of all creeds to join us! We expect elected Democrats to publicly and actively work to bring the principles of our platform to fruition using all available legal and parliamentary procedures.

Young Dems of Clark County

YDCC is a political organization based in Clark County, WA. Members are Democrats under the age of 36. Our membership reflects the broad diversity of our nation and the Democratic Party. Our mission is to engage young people in the Democratic Party to further the pillars of liberalism, equity, and progressive politics. We are comprised of young adults from Clark County who align with Democratic ideals. We work with community organizations and projects that support the community at large and believe leadership development of young people is crucial to the civic process.

Clark County Democratic Women

4th Wednesday Meetings

The purpose and policy of CCDW is to promote the growth, welfare, and success of the Democratic Party and to support as an entire body, the Washington State Federation of Democratic Women, with a priority placed on issues affecting women. The CCDW are affiliated with both the State and National Federation of Democratic Women. We offer an opportunity for members to learn and be vocal about issues of concern, how to shape priorities, and how to connect to legislators for support, and in turn, support our candidates, in particular, women candidates.

Grumpy Old Democrats

3rd Tuesday Meetings

Our activity is Voter Registration and Information. Our objective is Party Visibility. Come join us and bring your ideas with just enough Grump! Our next meeting will be Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 10:00am-Noon at the Dems Office: 237 NE Chkalov Dr., Vancouver (Cascade Park), Meeting Room “A.” We will be planning and discussing our activities at Esther Short Park for the 2026 Midterm Elections, Saturdays, June 6 thru October 31st.
